Overview

Beefood is a mobile app focused on flowers, plants, and personalized gifting. The project combines bouquet customization, plant care, reminders, and lifestyle accessories within one simple and emotionally driven experience. The goal was to create a cleaner and more human alternative to visually overloaded shopping apps.

The Problem

Most flower shopping apps felt visually overwhelming and focused more on quick sales than on the emotional side of gifting. Interfaces were full of banners, pop-ups, and cluttered layouts, making the experience feel chaotic and impersonal.

Customization options were also limited, with most platforms relying on predefined bouquets and fragmented plant-care experiences spread across multiple apps.

The challenge was creating something:

  • cleaner

  • easier to navigate

  • more personal

  • and emotionally meaningful.

The Solution

Beefood brings bouquet customization, plant care, reminders, and gifting together in one cohesive ecosystem.

The app introduces a step-by-step bouquet builder where users can choose flowers, wrapping paper, fillers, and greeting cards while seeing the total price update in real time. The flow was designed to feel lightweight and guided, helping users focus on the experience rather than complicated navigation.

The app also helps users discover plants based on their home conditions while offering care reminders and personalized recommendations.

User Experience

One of the main goals of the project was reducing visual noise and making the app feel intuitive from the first screen.

The interface uses:

  • clear hierarchy

  • simple navigation

  • soft spacing

  • and lightweight interaction patterns.

The bouquet builder was designed to make customization approachable even for users unfamiliar with floral design, turning the process into something playful and personal.

Visual System & Key Features

The visual system combines soft neutral backgrounds with green tones inspired by freshness, calmness, and nature.

Rounded components, clean layouts, and simplified interactions help create a modern and approachable interface without feeling visually aggressive. The overall aesthetic intentionally moves away from the chaotic style commonly found in marketplace apps.

Beefood combines several experiences into one ecosystem:

Outcome
